Bernera Zone Cricket
The Bernera Boys Cricket Championship was held at Brenan Park on 23rd March 2026, with schools across the Bernera zone competing in a highly competitive and spirited day of cricket. Each team displayed outstanding sportsmanship, skill, and determination throughout the tournament.
The competition featured strong performances from all participating schools, with matches played in a Twenty20 format across the two adjoining grounds at Brenan Park, allowing for an efficient and enjoyable day of cricket.
John Edmondson High School emerged as overall champions, finishing ahead of Bonnyrigg High School in second place, while Miller Technology High School secured third position.
Overall, the carnival was a great success, with students representing their schools and the Bernera Zone with pride and distinction. The quality of cricket and sportsmanship on display highlighted the continued strength and development of school sport within South West Sydney.
