Bernera Zone Boys & Girls Touch Football Central Venue

This events will serve as team selection trials for Bernera Zone to represent at the Sydney Southwest Championships. Trials will be held in Term 4 and are open to students in Years 7–11 only.

Event: Opens Boys and Girls Touch Football Tournament

Date: 18th November

Times: 9:00am to 2:00pm

Venue: Vale of Ah Milperra

Cost: $110 per team (includes venue hire, refs and first aid)

Refs: 8 available

First Aid: Sideline Solutions from 9:00am to 2:00pm

Rules

• Duration of each game will go for 35 mins with 15 min halves and a 5 min break in-between. Schools will play against other schools within their pool and the team with the most points from each pool will progress to the finals.
• 5 min turnarounds in between games for students to enter and leave the playing field. 
• 6 a side
• Point system:
• Win: 3 Points
• Draw: 2 Points
• Loss: 1 Point

Schools bring their own equipment on the day.

No jewellery or other ornaments, and fingernails to be kept short or taped if long.

Every 3 minutes a team is late, 1 point will be rewarded to the other team.
